Question. A city nuisance ordinance requires property owners to keep their property free of junk, trash, etc. What procedure must the city follow before it is allowed to go onto the property of an offending property owner and clean up the property? And to also sell and/or haul away what the city believes is trash, junk, etc.? What are the property owner's due process rights? Thanks
I suffered through the Alberto Gonzalez hearings last year and the subsequent evasive testimony offered regarding the firing of the US Attorneys. Perhaps it has always been this way, but it seems like a tremendous waste of the Congress's time, and that offends me. I applaud congressional efforts at investigating and oversight.
I want to know: What recourse, if any, does the Congress have when someone testifies and simply evades, and fails to offer any coherent answers?
