US Economy Loses Jobs For Second Month In A Row
US employers added 32,000 jobs during the month of July, a sharp decline from the 112,000 jobs created in June. According to Princeton economist Paul Krugman, the economy must gain 150,000 jobs a month in order to keep up with population growth, so today's report represents a net loss in overall US employment.
UPDATE 9:20am EST: Atrios informs us that June's numbers were also revised downward to 78,000.

It seems every month the previous month's numbers are revised down... something the media ignores. Of course I'm sure this isn't intentional deception on the part of the Bush Administration.
