Civil Unions Advance in New Hampshire
A bill to provide civil unions to same-sex couples in New Hampshire has
passed that state's House Judiciary Committee by a bipartisan 15-5 vote.
My lesbian relationship has survived 18 years of joy, trials, and change. We deserve to be recognized by our government, which collects one third of our income. We are childless, but support many children in our lives. We support an education system we don't use. In a time where most problems are the result of overpopulation, we should be celebrated.
If you're worried about marraige, outlaw divorce. If you're worried about a coming hispanic majority electing a conservative Catholic president, support the separation of church and state. If you believe in smaller government, don't limit my rights.
