High Court to Hear More

According to Chief Justice John Roberts, the Supreme Court will increase the number of oral arguments per day in the first part of the next term, the Legal Times reported. In a speech before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, Roberts announced that the justices will hear three arguments a day instead of two. The change is intended to increase the justices’ output in the early part of the term, thereby lightening their schedules in the latter part.
