The Supreme Court is expected to release opinions today for the first time in two weeks. ACSBlog will provide more as it is available. For more information on how the Supreme Court's remaining cases could effect equality and liberty under the law, see Part I of our State of the SCOTUS Term. Future installments of that series will examine the potential impact of the Court's decisions on access to justice; economic, workplace and environmental regulation; criminal law, and; democracy & voting.
UPDATE: The Court issued one decision today, Schriro v. Landrigan, holding that the Ninth Circuit wrongly granted a murder defendant a hearing to consider his ineffective assistance of counsel claim.
