Of note: Today, the Senate will resume consideration of the FISA Amendments Act. On Tuesday, the Senate Committee on Judiciary will examine four judicial nominations and the Crime and Drugs Subcommittee will discuss federal cocaine sentencing laws, focusing on reforming the 100-to-1 crack/powder disparity. On Wednesday, the Senate Committee on Judiciary will look at state secrets privilege, focusing on protecting national security while preserving accountability. On Thursday, the Committee will examine the proposal for media coverage of Federal court proceedings.
