Supreme Court Announces Arguments, Cert Grant

The Supreme Court has scheduled argument for November 26 to December 5. SCOTUSblog has the argument calendar here (it is not yet available on the Supreme Court's web site). Of particular note is the Guantanamo Bay Detainee case (Boumediene), the two preemption cases (Rowe and Medtronic), an employment case on the admission of "me, too" evidence (Spring), and a juror peremptory challenge/ race case (Snyder).

The Court also granted certiorari to a case regarding what constitutes money laundering. The cases are:

Nov. 26: LaRue v. DeWolff
Nov. 27: New Jersey v. Delaware
Nov. 28: Rowe v. New Hampshire Motor Transport
Dec. 3: Spring/United Management v. Mendelsohn
Dec. 4: Riegel v. Medtronic, Snyder v. Louisiana
Dec. 5: Boumediene v. Bush
