Judge Wald Testifies on State Secrets Privilege
The Honorable Patricia Wald, a member of ACS's Board of Directors, is testifying this morning on the "Reform of the State Secrets Privilege" before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties. Streaming video is available here.
The Constitution Project released a report on the state secrets privilege in May 2007. Secrecy News reported on new legislation introduced by Senators Kennedy and Specter to "define the privilege and limits its use."
